Two MDS Senior Secondary School students have been selected for the written examination of NDA, which is the highest in Udaipur. NDA exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defense Academy and Indian Naval Academy courses. Both students are also preparing for IIT JEE. Dr Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS, greeted Rudra Pratap Singh and Nishant Chopra for the upcoming IIT JEE exam and SSB. Students selected in the written examination will give SSB and will move towards the dream of becoming a Defense Officer. The NDA exam pattern consists of a written test and an SSB interview. The written examination consists of two papers,Mathematics and General Aptitude Test. The Mathematics paper is 300 marks, whereas the paper on the General Aptitude Test is 600.

 The total mark for the NDA written exam is 900. Math questions are asked from the subjects covered in class 12 level. The General Aptitude Test Paper consists of English, General Knowledge and General Science questions. There are two stages in the SSB interview. The first phase consists of OIR and PP, and DT tests, while the second phase consists of psychological testing and conference. The maximum mark allotted for the SSB interview is also 900.
