Academic Program

The curriculum from Playgroup to Std. XII includes the following core subjects and the following activities

Playgroup/Pre-Nursery : Consists of activities which promote “Learning while Playing”. Detailed activity chart will be provided after the admission of the child
Nursery :- An introduction to the capital letters of the alphabets in English, Hindi, Numbers 1 to 20. Detailed activity chart will be provided after the admission of the child.
L.Kg. :- Cursive writing in English Alphabets, writing in Hindi, reading & writing of short words in both the languages, Numbers 1 to 50. Detailed activity chart will be provided after the admission of the child.
H.Kg. :- English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, Drawing, Computer & G.K. Detailed activity chart will be provided after the admission of the child.

Class I & II :- English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Drawing and Craft, Computer & G.K.
Class III to V :- English, Hindi, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies, Computer , General Knowledge, Drawing and Craft
Class VI to VIII :- English, Hindi, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies, Sanskrit, Computer, General Knowledge, Drawing & Painting, Craft, preparation of various Olympiads.
Class IX and X:- English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer, Socially Useful & Productive Work (S.U.P.W.), Art Education, Physical Education and Community Service and , preparation of various Olympiads.
Class XI and XII (10+2) :- MDS provides Regular class room teaching programme in the Science and Commerce Stream only. There is a provision for faculty of Arts at MDS applicable only for girls. Minimum Grade to enter Science/Commerce Stream : Not below B2 grade in any subject.

Preparation of Olympiads /Pre-Engineering/ Pre-Medical and Commerce competitive (i.e CA-CS Foundation) examinations.
