Keeping the school flag high 12 students of MDS Public School got selected in first round of KVPY(Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna). The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
MDS Principal Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari briefed that 12 students, got success. Students were groomed and motivated well in their classes, and students brought the fruit too. 6 students of class 11th , Anirudh Trivedi, Deyzel Solanki, Nehal Ninavati, Romir Mehta, Harsh Somani, Purvi Balot, and 6 of class 12th Yedujeet singh Devra, Kavish Lodha, naman Porwal, Chinmay Choubisa, NIshchal Jain and Shubh Singhal (these all are preparing for IIT-JEE entrance) These students not only proved their talent but also become the inspiration for all other students.
In second and final round all the selected students will be interviewed in month of January, if selected these students will be given scholarship of 4000-7000rs. per month by Govt.
