celebrated Independence Day

Today, August 15, 2023, 77th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at MDS Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.
The special occasion of 77th Independence Day started with the flag hoisting by Chief Guest Mr. Professor Dr. Gaurav Vallabh, School Trustee Ramesh Chandra Somani, Trustee Mrs. Pushpa Somani, Trustees Rameshwar Lal Mandovar, Shyam Lal Mandovar and Director Dr. Shailendra Somani. After this all the people present in the school sang the national anthem together. The chief guest was welcomed by wearing uparna and presented with a bouquet of flowers.
The operation of the program was presented in a very interesting form by the students of the school with special unwavering faith towards their country.
300 students of MDS participated in colorful programs to celebrate the occasion the students of the school gave speech in Hindi and English. Both of them enthused everyone in their speech with the spirit of patriotism and commitment towards the nation.
The students sang a patriotic song which gave the message of harmony and brotherhood. Tiny tots of Pre Primary students dressed up as their favorite national personality and showed their respect and love for their nation. The sacrifice made by Captain Vikram Batra in the Kargil War enthralled everyone by presenting a skit by the students.
The mesmerizing dance performance by the students touched the hearts of all.
Everyone was moved by listening to the poem which awakened the spirit of patriotism.
MDS Director Dr. Shailendra Somani expressed gratitude to the guests, parents and everyone present in the school. Addressing the gathering, he appealed to take pride in being an Indian and fulfill our duty and responsibility towards the nation and the world. In particular, he emphasized that a person’s behavior towards others is of utmost importance and that what we have inherited from our elders should not be lost. He further said that all the students who participated in the event performed brilliantly with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, their enthusiasm was amazing and unmatched.
MDS Vice Principal Jaya Verma thanked all the guests, parents and all the people present in the school for their valuable time and being a part of this program. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone for making the special occasion memorable. The program ended with chanting.
