75th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in Hiran Magri branch of MDS Senior Secondary School.
The program was started by school trustees Dr. Ramesh Chandra Somani, Pushpa Somani, Director Dr. Shailendra Somani by welcoming the chief guests with the school band, presenting them with gifts and shriphal. The chief guests were – renowned educationist Raj Rishi Sharma, A.K. DP Mahendra Dave and Joshi Sir.
After this the flag was hoisted by the chief guests and salute was given to the chief guests by the parade contingent of the school. After that, a colorful program started in which a beautiful song was presented by the school’s music group, a dance drama was staged saluting the martyrdom of Pulwama martyrs, different states showcasing the spirit of unity in diversity of India. A very captivating performance of K.K. dance was given, a very captivating dance was presented on the song Jai Ho by the little children of Kids World, poetry was staged, 75 years of Yashogan were narrated through speech.
Inspirational things related to freedom were told to the children by the chief guest Raj Rishi Sir and wished them a bright future.
The whole program was facilitated by the students of class X of the school, Nehal Mehta, Soumya Bajaj and Heni Boliyan. At the end of the program, Dr. Shailendra Somani, the director of the school, while expressing his gratitude to the guests, thanked them for visiting the school premises.
